Established in 1976, The TKWGA 18 Holers league is a group of women committed to improving their game of golf with other women who have a similar purpose. We welcome both Trumbull residents and non-residents of all skill levels. As a member, you will maintain an official USGA handicap and play in weekly tournaments for prizes.
The league plays every Thursday morning from mid-April through mid-October, with guaranteed tee times. Most weeks, the Tournament Chair makes up the foursomes randomly so new members are easily welcomed into the group and have the opportunity to meet and play with other members.
There are four different memberships available:
- FULL MEMBERSHIP ($95) – participation in our weekly events, prize money, and social aspects. Requires a GHIN number. If you do not yet have a GHIN, you can still join the league and earn your GHIN by playing 3 rounds of golf with signed scorecards. You will be able to play if there is an opening on the tee sheet but as a non-qualifier, you are not eligible for prizes until you have submitted the 3 scorecards. USGA handicap index lower than 38.5 (a Tashua Knolls course handicap of 40 or below from the green tees) is required.
- GHIN Only ($42) – enables you to earn a GHIN number
- JUNIOR ($20)– (same requirements as full membership) – any girl under 18 years of age.
- PARTIAL YEAR MEMBERSHIP ($64)– same as full membership, available after July 15th
