We are an independent club of senior golfers and bowlers. The primary objectives of the club are to:
- Promote recreational golf and bowling activities in a friendly and competitive environment.
- Promote other social and civic actions as they relate to the general welfare of the community.
Membership is open to any male 60 years of age or more. Annual dues cost for membership is $37 plus $32 GHIN fee (to establish a handicap) for the golfers.
All members are eligible to participate in our weekly block of golf time every Wednesday, from 7:00 AM to approximately 10:30 AM. Events are scheduled throughout the golf season, from April to November. The calendar of events is posted on the bulletin board in the downstairs area of the clubhouse and at www.tksmc.org.
In addition to golf, we also have two bowling leagues for our membership—one on Tuesday mornings 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM from early September to early May, and the other on Friday mornings, same time, from late October to early May.
We have monthly general club meetings (the first Tuesday of each month), an annual full membership banquet in October and a bowling banquet in May.
We have an “away golf group” that plays every Thursday at other courses within a 50 mile radius. We also have two interclub golf tournaments each year: one at Smith Richardson and one at home.
We are currently looking to add new members. Membership is not restricted to Trumbull residents and currently includes members from other Connecticut towns including Easton, Monroe, Bridgeport, Shelton-Huntington, Milford, Stratford, Wilton and Fairfield.
