Tips from the Pro:
The first hole at Tashua Knolls is long and straight with woods guarding both the right and left sides of the fairway. A clean drive favoring the left half of the fairway will provide a clear second. Unless you’re typically long off the tee, don’t expect to reach this green in 2. A par is well at hand, however with a clean 3rd shot. With a gradual downhill grade, this hole plays shorter than it appears – especially from 150 and in. Pin placements can be tricky, green slopes sharply to the front and also has a right sloping edge. Bunkers guard the left side.
If your second shot heads far right, be sure to warn golfers on the 2nd tee box whose view may be hidden behind the trees!
